# Hotkeys - quick keys to revote etc

## Useful keys to remember. Consider printing this page for quick reference.

| During the voting session: To manually start a ppvote activity, press V. This is the most important one to remember. If you don't see the votes cast box, V will force it to launch. The most common cause of the vote not launching is that there is already data on the presentation. Be sure to clear data before you run a session: In PowerPoint go to Add-ins \> CLiKAPAD \> Voting Results \> Clear data/reset. During a vote, these are the available keys: |
| --- |

| R | Revote – During a vote, if you press R the counter will go back to 0 for everyone to vote again. |
| --- | --- |
| K | Display which keypads have not voted. Also turns off the keypads not voted list if that is already being displayed. |
| - | By default the receiver will accept votes from any keypads within the number range defined in Keypad Set Up. To decrease the active keypads to only those who have responded in the current vote, click – whilst the vote is open. This is useful if you want to keep all of your keypads live, in case you need to add one or swap one out during a session. Once all trainees have voted, hit - to close the vote. After that the system will not list the inactive keypads in the 'waiting for' list. |
| + | If the – key has been used (see above) and you wish to Increase the active keypads to the full range defined in keypad setup press + during a vote. You can use - again after your new keypads have cast their votes. |

| After you close the vote, these are the available hotkeys when in Slide Show mode: |
| --- |

| V | Start Vote. This can be used if there is a graph on screen and you need to clear that and start again, or if the slide doesn't automatically launch the vote (the votes counter doesn't appear, so people can't vote) |
| --- | --- |
| Ctrl + G | Show/Hide Graph. |
| Slide numbers | To jump to a slide, type in the slide number and hit the enter key |
| B | Blacks out the screen, can be useful if you want them to focus on you or on a whiteboard or similar |
| W | As above but the screen goes white |
